Setting up the interface to Slack is quick, but you need to pre-configure a few settings. For this you need admin rights in Slack and Staffomatic
What can this integration do?
Roughly speaking, the integration can forward information from Staffomatic to the Slack communication platform & display it there in a predefined channel

What do I need for the integration?
Naturally you will need a subscription for both Slack as well as Staffomatic. Furthermore, there can only be one managing administrator for Slack & therefore it should be considered in advance, how the integration will be managed.
Only one user can manage the integration in Staffomatic!
Slack configuration:

Configuration of Staffomatic:
- Navigate to the "Integration" tab in your admin account
- Install the "Slack" integration
- Then click on "Slack notifications" to open the integration
- In order to be able to set the integration settings, it must first be connected to the Slack channel/workspace.
For this, click on the "Setup Slack Incoming Webhooks" button & log in to Slack.
- Once you have entered your email address to sign up for Slack, you will receive a confirmation code via email.
Enter this code in the field provided & follow the further instructions on Slack - Finally, just add the Slack Webhook URL to the integration at Staffomatic
- Now, configure the desired time, time zone & work days in the interface, as to when you want the information to be synced to Slack
You can usually find the Slack URL on your desktop under your workspace name (left).
The Slack URL is basically composed of the name of your workspace and the slack.com domain (e.g. company.slack.com)
